Since the last article was, beyond my expectation, getting on the hot post chart of Exteen, therefore I needed to study deeper into the terms of“patija samupata” for the right comprehension. The deeper I studied, the more it deals with complicated technical terms, which I would like to omit here before somebody actually fall asleep reading my blog.

My biggest challenge is how to explain “patija samupata” in easy tone without using Pali terms when many see this as impossible. But since my idol, Eddy, could translate those boring complicated mathematics into funny writing, I got so inspired to make this impossible mission, possible.

Ok, from the previous episode, I talked about our own body as the matrix that when plugged in with our mind, together they became human. In this sequel, we will be linking this with “patija samupata”.
เริ่มมาจากประโยคที่ว่า Matrix blinds you from the truth. หรือ "แมทริกซ์ทำให้คุณไม่สามารถเห็นความจริง" เมื่อจักโยงเข้ากับปรัชญาของ เรอเน เดสการ์ตส์ ก็ได้เป็นว่า "ประสาทสัมผัสทั้งห้า ทำให้คุณไม่สามารถเห็นความจริง" หรือ "ประสาททั้งห้า หลอกคุณ หรือเชื่อไม่ได้"
A quote from the movie, “Matrix blinds you from the truth”, when linked with that of Descartes, “I think therefore I am”, can be implied that“the five senses blind us from the truth” or “the five senses are deceiving us and cannot be trusted”.
จากประสาทสัมผัสทั้งห้าทางวิทยาศาสตร์ สมเด็จพระผู้มีพระภาค บัญญัติไว้เป็นหก ครับ คือ ตา หู จมูก ลิ้น กาย ใจ เรียกเป็นเทคนิคอลเทอมว่า อายตนะทั้งหก หรือ สฬายตนะ แอร๊ยยยย..... มาแล้วบาลี
About these senses, the Lord Buddha actually mentioned not only 5, but 6 of the senses, which are..
eye ear nose tongue body and mind
Together, these senses are called “the six of Āyatana” or Saḷāyatana (Arrrgggggggggg there goes the first Pali term!!)
เหล่าขบวนการเสกเรนเจอร์ อายตนอยด์ไรเดอร์นี้ ยังแบ่งเป็น อายตนอยด์ภายนอก กับอายตนอยด์ภายใน ที่ว่าผ่านไปแล้ว เป็นอายตนอยด์ภายใน ครับ อายตนอยด์ภายนอกได้แก่ รูป เสียง กลิ่น รส โผฏฐัพพะ(สัมผัสทางกาย)ธรรมารมณ์ รวมเป็นอายตนะทั้งสิบสอง มีพระเอก หรือ ลอร์ดอายตนอยด์ คือ "ใจ" ครับ ดังพระบาลีว่า
These 6 members of the ranger team are actually only the external sense bases from the total 12, which include the internal Āyatana -- visible object, sound, odour, taste, touch, and mental object. Together there are 12 of these senses. And the main starring of these team is “the mind” as the Pali stated,..
มโนปุพพังคมา ธัมมา มโนเสฏฐา มโนมยา
ธรรมใดล้วนมีใจเป็นใหญ่ มีใจประเสริฐสุด สำเร็จที่ใจ
Mind is the forerunner of all states. Mind is chief; mind-made are they.
เมื่อใดอายตนอยด์ภายนอก มาดึ๊มดึ่มชิ้งชั้งกับ อายตนอยด์ภายใน เมื่อนั้นจักเกิดอาการรับรู้ เรียกว่า "วิญญาณ"
So when each couple, internal (organ/sense) and external (object) Āyatana, are touched, there comes acknowledgement (or vinyan, which means “spirit” in Thai).
วิญญาณตัวนี้ ไม่ใช่หนังปี๋ ครับ อย่าเพิ่งเข้าใจผิด วิญญาณในภาษาบาลีนี่ แปลว่า การรับรู้ ครับ เช่น รูปมากระทบกับตา เรียกว่า จักขุวิญญาณ แปลว่า การรับรู้ทางตา, กลิ่นมากระทบกับจมูก เรียกว่า ฆานวิญญาณ แปลว่า การรับรู้ทางจมูก (ฆานะ แปลว่า กลิ่น) หรือ ได้กลิ่น เป็นต้น
This vinyan is not really any ghost film related, but vinyan in Pali means acknowledgement. For example, when visible object is seen by eyes, there is an visual acknowledgement. When odour is scented by nose, there is nasal acknowledgement.
แล้วทั้งหมดที่พล่ามมา มันไปเกี่ยวกระไรกับ คุณเรอเน หรือ แมทริกซ์ เล่า?
So how do these complicated terms related to Mr. Rene Descartes or the Matrix?
ก็คุณวิญญานนี่แล ที่ดูจะตรงกับสิ่งที่ คุณเรอเน บอกว่า มันไม่จริง หรือแมทริกซ์ เป็นสิ่งหลอกลวง ที่สุด
Both Descartes and Matrix pointed out that this “Vinyan” or five senses or acknowledgement is deceiving us.
แต่พระพุทธเจ้าไม่ได้บอกว่า วิญญาณ หรือการรับรู้ เป็นสิ่งหลอกลวง ครับ วิญญาณเป็นแค่กลไกทางธรรมชาติอย่างหนึ่ง สิ่งที่ทำให้ไม่เห็นความจริง อยู่ลึกกว่านั้น ครับ เราจักไปว่ากันต่อในตอนหน้า
The Lord Buddha did not mention that the acknowledgements of five senses are tricking us, but he explained it as the natural process of every human being. What really deceives us lies in the deeper layer of these things, which we shall dig deeper into it in the next chapter.
ก่อนที่จักดื่มด่ำไปกับความลุ่มลึกของรสพระธรรม จนหลับไปกันหมด มาสรุปกันสักสเต็ปก่อน จากสมการหลายหลากข้างต้นทั้งหมด รวมความลงมาได้ว่า "ไอติมชื่อดัง ลบหนึ่ง รวมหัวกันหลอกลวงเรา"
